Josh, a native of Waynoka, OKlahoma got his start working on several popular network television shows (American Idol, The Biggest Loser, The Jerry Springer Show), and has worked various positions on a variety of independent film and television projects

In 2005, Josh established his own production company, Olive Entertainment, and has written, directed and produced 5 award winning short films that have now screened at numerous film festivals across the globe.  Josh's latest feature film, The Life and Death of an Unhappily Married Man was released in 2015, and has won over 20 awards for Best Feature Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Editing & Best Score.  Josh is currently the Co-Creative Director of the Twister Alley and Windy City Film Festivals.

Josh's favorite films include Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Lost in Translation, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Junebug, Rocky, The Squid and the Whale, Fargo, Her, The Shining, Half Nelson, Sideways, Rudy, Big & Pee-Wee's Big Adventure.​​

mindy fay parks

Mindy grew up in Oklahoma and fell in love with acting early in life. She spent most of her free time performing in school plays, pageants, and talent shows. Her senior year of high school she studied and performed in London, and then attended Oklahoma State University to earn an Honors B.A. in Theatre. After university, she went on a two year adventure in Japan before moving to Chicago to pursue her professional acting career. 

Since moving to Chicago in 2013, Mindy has delved into all sides of the film industry. She has worked in front of the camera for NBC's Chicago Fire, The Onion, and several successful Indie films. This year she co-wrote OFF BOOK, her first self-produced Indie short, which has won a best screenplay award and is currently nominated for another. She also served as Co-Director for the 2016 Juggernaut Sci-Fi and Fantasy Short Film Festival. She loves how film festivals provide a live and interactive audience for filmmakers, and she is thrilled to bring this new multi-genre festival to The Windy City!  

Mindy's Favorite films include The Goonies, Hook, Titanic, Back to the Future, Son in Law, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, While You Were Sleeping, and every Johnny Depp movie.
